White Privilege
By: Paula Rothenberg

White Privilege, by Paula Rothenberg, is a book that is dedicated to discussing less popular topics in regards to race relations in America. It is a collection of articles that addresses the veiled privileges that white Americans possess. In an effort to mobilize whites to use white privilege as an invaluable weapon against racism, both social and institutional, Rothenberg decided to make the book shorter so that it could be utilized in many different environments: colleges, high schools, and community organizations. I enjoyed this book because it articulates the concerns and thoughts of many American minorities. As an African American, I believe that the time has come for both minorities and whites to come together for the greater good of America, and RothenbergĀ¹s book does an excellent job of discussing how white Americans can help to better equality in America.
